We Spread
C u l t u r e
Beyond activities in social and regenerative agriculture, equestrian tourism, and catering, we also engage in educational activities. This inclusive education, open to everyone, is chosen to disseminate new knowledge and skills for application in everyday life.
The themes of our educational programs interweave various aspects and interests, from environmental education to regenerative agriculture, climate change, ecology, permaculture design, and regenerative culture.
The courses aim to equip individuals (both adults and children), schools, groups, and communities with enough knowledge and tools in horticulture, regeneration, agro-ecology, and self-production to be applied in daily contexts.

Understanding agriculture and rural environments means establishing a relationship with nature, but also grappling with critical issues like sustainable development and conscious consumption. Today, children and adults alike are at risk of forgetting or never knowing what the countryside is: the land, agricultural products and their transformations, animals, and the agricultural landscape risk becoming distant virtual realities from everyday life.
The educational project by Coop. Eliante, in collaboration with Coop. Solidarity, focuses on the countryside to bring agriculture closer to schools, families, and adults, offering stimuli and activities on the multiplicity of functions and connections to daily life in agricultural areas and rural activities, healthy eating, environmental protection, and sustainable development, viewing the territory as a place of identity and belonging.
The work hints, linked to activities with classes and training moments for teachers, offer many interpretive keys connected to the project objectives:
- Inform about today’s agriculture (multifunctionality of farms, professionalism, markets);
- Listen to ancient and modern consciences and awarenesses, related to cyclicality and the relationship with nature and the value of manual labor;
- Rediscover the roots of rural culture (traditions and local cultures, yesterday’s civilization and agricultural activities);
- Explain productive processes (raising animals, cultivating fields, transforming products, sowing, harvesting);
- Understand foods and principles of a healthy diet (food characteristics, eating products from our territory, reading labels);
- Reclaim the sounds and tastes of the countryside (smells, flavors, sounds of the countryside, animals, rain, wind);
- Meet the protagonists (stories of men and women living in the countryside);
- Know the territory (history, culture, and environment, the role of agriculture, local products, foods, and gastronomy);
- Educate for sustainability (understand sustainable development issues, energy, and renewable sources, rethink individual behaviors in daily life, in line with recent ministerial directions focusing on civic education at the core of school activity);
- Frame environmental sustainability themes within the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN 2015).
